Mother's Day

We couldn't celebrate Mothers Day on Sunday due to some personal family reasons so James very kindly took Monday off work and we made Monday into our mothers day instead. The day started off with a lie in, followed by breakfast in bed which included two cards from Lily, a teddy bear, box of chocolates and buns! It was all much appreciated and the naughty food was heavenly after a week of doing Slimming world!

After breakfast we decided to go for a morning walk down to the park to wear Lily out before her nap time...


We walked over to say good morning to the ducks and Lily apologised to them for not bringing any bread ("Sorry duckies we not got any bread for you, it's all in my tummy!"). After a quick play on the swings and slide it started to rain so we swiftly made our way back home and put Lily down for her sleep.


After Lils nap we went for a pub lunch which was lovely. Lily was really well behaved which makes a nice change as she usually wont stay still whenever we go to eat out! We then went on to a Wacky Warehouse and sat and had a coffee whilst Lily ran around and released all her energy haha.

It's been a lovely family day which was just what I wanted, nothing too big or fancy just time spent together :)
