Oh my gosh I'm embracing this weather so much at the moment! We're spending every day outside having picnics or going for walks and I love it!
Yesterday me and my brother took Lily to Meanwood woods, one of my favourite woods of all time. If you've been following my blog for a while you've probably seen plenty of pictures of these particular woods already..we go all the time, its just so pretty!
The best thing about this particular wood is that not many people seem to know about it so it's always really quiet and peaceful. We actually live on the doorstep of one of the biggest parks in Leeds which has a really nice wood too but its so well known that it's always loud and busy and when the sun comes out everyone comes flocking.
We stopped for some food and rest on a well placed log halfway through our walk and Lily held on to my arm the whole time which is unusual for her as she's usually miss independent. I found it so sweet even though it was probably because we were at the top of a massive hill and she was scared of falling off the log and rolling down the hill haha.
Meanwood wood is definitely my happy place at the moment :)

ReplyDeleteThere really is..if we ever have another child I'd love to do a woodland theme in their nursery. You go girl, find that happy place! x
