Friday Favourites #9

Friday 12 February 2016

This week, in-between health visitor visits, nursery drop offs and baby clinics, I had a rare chance to go shopping. It's the first time I've been shopping in forever and so I went a little spending crazy but picked up some nice bits for both Lily and Archer.

I went to Homesense first as I wanted to get a matching letter 'A' to go with the letter 'L' for my desk. Unfortunately though they didn't have any A's in stock so I ended up getting a few other bits instead. My favourite buy is this bunting clip wall hanging which I've put above Lily's drawing table in her bedroom to clip her drawings on to. I also bought this pink notebook with 'imagine' written in gold letters for £5. I originally bought it for my blogging but have since decided to give it to Lily as she's very into writing in her 'diaries' at the moment. I also got her this little mouse as I love the pastel colours on it and thought it would look lovely in her bedroom. The dribble bibs are from mamas and papas and whilst Lily obviously doesn't dribble anymore (!) I thought they would look nice over some of her plain white long sleeved tops.

For Archer I picked up this outfit from Next. It's actually the first outfit that properly fits him as the size is 'up to 1 month.' Everything else we have for him is 0-3 months and absolutely swamps him so it's nice for him to have some clothes that are a good fit.
The baby flat cap doesn't fit yet but should by summer - I can't wait to put him in it!

I absolutely love these two memory boxes I found in Homesense. They were both around the £5 mark. I bought Lily one when she was a newborn and it got filled up really quickly so it's about time she had a new one. Both the designs are so nice! What I love about Homesense is that it sells such a variety of different things, I never leave empty handed.

  1. Love the bits you picked up, I must have a look and see if we have a home sense near by that I could go to as those bits are lovely and a good price too! xx
