Weekend Tot Style #2

Saturday 10 September 2016

September weather is so confusing I never know how to dress the kids! With Lily its not so bad as I can just put a cardigan on which she can take off if she gets too warm but since Arch can't tell me whether he's too hot it can be bit of a mare trying to dress him appropriately for our constantly changing weather.

Today has been a really grey thundery day but also warm and uncomfortably humid. When it's warm Archer usually has short sleeves on but since it's been threatening to rain all day today I didn't want him to get wet and so opted for a thin long sleeved jumper without a vest underneath.

This wild boy jumper is one of my faves. I bought it from someone on Instagram selling their little boys clothes a while ago (Pre loved IG sales are the best aren't they?) and since its 9-12 months it feels like I've been waiting ages for him to wear it! He's only 7 months but it fits like a dream now, the little chunk!

The wooly hat is from an Etsy seller and I adore it. It's my go-to accessory for his outfits and he'll be wearing it even more now the colder weather is upon us. Especially since he doesn't have much hair to keep his little head warm yet ;) I love the bobble at the top, I'm a sucker for mustard yellow, it's the perfect autumn colour!

Finally the joggers are from Zara. I love love love this burgundy colour on Archer, it seems to really suit him. It's a colour I never really thought about before but I'm absolutely obsessed with now! You cant tell on these photos but these particular joggers have a label at the top saying 'run wild and free'  which compliments the 'wild boy' slogan on his jumper. (I totally planned that...not!)

Finally..I really need to work on my outfit layout game dont I? The creases in that back drop photo are just not on

  1. I know what you mean about September weather! A lot of the time I'll put Joey in a jumper in the morning and by 11am it's warm but isn't sunny. I love this outfit, it really gives off an autumnal vibe, Joey has the Wild Boy top but in the vest style. The burgandy Zara joggers are great and go so well. Your photography is amazing by the way, such clear sharp images. #WeekendTotStyle
