First of all let me just apologise for the awful quality of this months photos yet again. I suck I know! I've pretty much given up trying to get pictures on my big camera of the pair of them at this stage. Iphone photos are the way forward until time becomes on my side once again!
This month has seen a whole lot of jealousy on Archers part and a whole lot of patience on Lily's. It feels like Archer has only just realised he has to share me with his sister and quite frankly he doesn't like it one bit. He shows it by screaming and attempting to claw at Lily every time she dares sit on my knee, or come in to any touching distance really and I'm preying this is just a phase as it's not fun for poor Lil, although she's being very patient about it. Once again the mum guilt is back is full force and as a result I'm trying to give her lots of quality time when Arch naps.
All that being said Lily's unwavering love for Arch at the moment really amazes me. I would totally understand at this age if she wasn't at all interested in him or even if she was constantly annoyed by him but she's just so patient and loving towards him there doesn't seem to be an ounce of resentment on her part which is just incredible really. It may be a completely different story as he gets older but for now she's happy to share her toys with him, choosing which ones she thinks is safest for him (we need to make sure he can't swallow this mummy) and bringing them over to him, and then swapping to a new toy when he gets bored. She gives him a dummy and tries to chat to him when he's upset and goes out of her way to do thoughtful things such as put the cushions on the fireplace so he can't hurt himself and tidy up her small toys that might be a choking hazard. She's incredible.
This month Lily is enjoying:
Watching Tom & Jerry re-runs (her new favourite thing, how very retro)
Sitting in her teepee
Looking around primary schools
Practising writing her letters
This month Archer is enjoying:
Standing up on furniture which terrifies me
Playing with Lilys left over birthday balloons
Copying words
Stealing toys out of Lily's hands.

Aw these photos are lovely, I have found it hard to get any nice photos lately as time goes so quick and by the time I am ready its dark or the lighting is just terrible. Lily sounds so good with Archer bless her xx
