Okay first of all - WOW how hard is it to take a flat lay of clothes!? Is it just me? I just spent twenty minutes trying and then promptly gave up. I think I need someone to give me tips! But until that day comes, or until I can figure out how to get my children's clothes all in one frame (seriously?? how?!) I guess I'm just going to have to do my outfits post flat-lay less so bear with..!
I'm joining in with This Mama Life and The Ordinary Mum for their new What my kid wore Wednesday linky as I'm big into kids fashion these days. It's the only bit of indulgence I let myself have since I never really spend on myself anymore. Not only do I quite literally never have the luxury of time to go shopping by myself I also would much rather my kids look good than me, haha. I'm sure many of you can relate.
Since Archer never keeps flipping still these days it's safe to say these pictures aren't the best. I seriously took for granted how easy he was to capture in the pre crawling days and as you can see he's been bribed with food to stay still. Go figure!
Today's outfit is a monochrome mix of high street and independent. The black and white grid jeans are from h&m. I tend not to put Arch in jeans so much as I always feel like I'm squashing him into them. However these particular ones are super stretchy, leaning more towards the jeggings side and so fit him really well. The cloud and raindrops T shirt was from an Etsy seller a while back. I'd been after a shirt like this for a while but couldn't bring myself to pay the £20 for the ones I've seen floating around IG. I can't remember how much I paid for it, nor can I remember the seller (I'm rubbish, I know!) but it was definitely a lot cheaper as I came away feeling like I'd snatched up a bargain. I always think of Etsy as selling things for the home but actually there's a lot of lovely children's wear on there too.
