Our week in pictures #9

Saturday 16 September 2017

Comparing this weeks photos to a fortnight ago it's almost as though you can see the seasons changing. Gone are the sleeveless rompers and short sleeved dresses and instead we're back to woolly hats, oversized jumpers, tights and wellies. I love it.

(On a side note I've been looking everywhere for some nice waterproof jackets for the kids, if anyone knows of any please get in touch!)

This week, as I mentioned in my recent siblings post, has been a week of being outdoors.

Lily started school last week and we're all settling in to the new routine of the school run. It's a very different routine to her nursery one as her nursery was always a car or bus ride away where as her primary school is in walking distance. It's been surprisingly nice, getting out and walking on a daily basis. I think it's been good for us. Especially Archer who is exhausted by the time we get back from dropping Lily off and goes straight down for a nap with no fighting it, total win!

We take a shortcut through our local woods, which I really enjoy doing because it's beautiful and peaceful. However this particular shortcut might be short lived as we get further in to Autumn weather as the rain turns the woods in to a mud bath. We shall see!
