Weekend Watch - Newborn babies and Rubbish weather

Monday 2 October 2017

To say we haven't done much this weekend it's gone incredibly fast. I feel like the weather has forced us inside somewhat over the past few days what with the torrential rain and winds.

We're not usually one to shy away from rough weather but Archer has a terrible cold and is all the more miserable for it and I;m currently on the hunt for new raincoats for my pair (and getting nowhere) and so staying indoors has seemed the sensible option.

That's not to say it's been a bad weekend though. Far from it.
My new little nephew baby Wilf came in to the world last week and yesterday we finally got to meet him. He's a stunner. I was surprised at how the kids were with him actually. Lily fell in love with him straight away and cuddled and kissed him constantly. She keeps talking about him non stop too which makes my heart melt (and a small small part of me feel somewhat broody!)

Archer I thought would be really jealous but he just wasn't interested at all haha. He prodded and poked Wilf for all of about 30 seconds then went off to get some attention from uncle Drew and that was that!

The below photos show a walk to the playground on Friday after school with uncle Greg. (who Archer is obsessed with!) and there are a few photos from Saturday afternoon playing in the back alley behind grandma and grandads. The kids were out there for all of about two minutes before the heavens opened though.

A good weekend all round
