This weekend was all about making the most of the last of our good weather before the September showers hit.
I say good weather, its actually been bloody freezing recently but the suns been out and mingling with the autumn chill and no rain is always a bonus.
On Saturday afternoon we took Lily to a local street festival near my parents house. We go every year as its really good for kids - there's a live band, food stalls, face painting, bouncy castle and plenty of kids rides. We spent a good few hours there before going round to James parents for tea.
On Sunday we decided to take a picnic up to the top of Otley Chevin. It turned out to be a little bit of a disaster as we hadn't counted on how rocky it was which made the pram impossible to push but we made it to the top in decent time and had a really lovely picnic of fruit, kinder eggs and yoghurts.
The view definitely made the uphill walk worth it

I love going on these kinds of walks and I love that Lily is an outdoorsy kind of child ♥

What a gorgeous view! We have been also trying to take advantage of the last few moments of the summer. I cannot believe how quickly the season has slipped away!
