It is SO HARD to get a decent sibling photo these days let me tell you! I'm hoping it gets easier when Archer starts sitting up so I can just sit them next to each other because this month I was about ready to give up let me tell ya. I attempted to have Lily holding Arch but he's just too freaking heavy and they toppled over after about 30 seconds ha, Then I tried lying them next to each other but Lily kept getting annoyed at Archer who kept kicking her and so I called it a day! In the end I actually ended up preferring just casual ones I took of Arch in his walker with Lily in the background and so I've put them in too.
What I like best about these two photos is that they sum up their relationship currently to a T: Arch trying to play peacefully in his walker whilst Lily sits beside him pressing all the buttons and not giving him a chance, bless her! She's so his little shadow at the moment!
We started weaning Arch a few days ago and Lily has been enjoying shoving spoons in his mouth unceremoniously! He's not quite there with the eating yet, in fact he was actively shuddering for the most part haha but I have a feeling that once it clicks he'll be a boy who loves his food.
We now have the 6 week summer holidays ahead of us before Lily goes back to pre school in September so there will be plenty of bonding time for these two. I'm looking forward to what next month will bring!
