Liebster Award

So I have been nominated for the Liebster award by Samantha over at The Mummyventure and Laura over at Dexters Mummy, thanks girls! I love these sorts of things because they allow you to find out a bit more about the other bloggers around you, lets you show appreciation to those blogs you love the best and is a good way of finding new blogs too.

So, on with the questions -

1. What is your highlight of 2015 so far?

I think my highlight has to be when Lily said I love you mummy for the first time a few weeks ago. It made my heart sing!

2. What is your favourite quote?

"If a bird can sing with a broken wing, you'll learn to bend when the wind blows" - Erik Hassle. Its technically a song lyric rather than an actual quote does that still count!? I love it though, it basically means you need to learn to deal with what life throws at you and just get on with it. There's always someone much worse off than you are :)

3. Which celebrity do you most want to meet?

Scott Disick from the Kardashians..he makes me laugh like no other! Or maybe Ed Westwood..I have the ultimate little girl crush!

4. What tops your bucket list at the moment?

It's definately a toss up between own our own house and have another baba, It's a dream to live in a village one day too..maybe when the kids have gone off to uni!

5. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I love the idea that blogging gives lasting memories. This is pretty morbid but its always scared me that if I were to die now Lily wouldn't remember me properly so my blog and YouTube channel sort of leaves a lasting imprint of both me and my love for my little family if that makes sense!? I also love how blogging allows you to connect with other like-minded  parents.

6. If you could do any job in the world what would it be?

I'd love to be a detective!! Nothing too heavy just the types of detectives that people hire out if they think their husband/wife is having an affair haha.

7. What is your favourite film?

I'm going to be a typical girl here and say The Notebook ;)

8. Why did you start blogging?

Something to pass the time during what felt like a long pregnancy! What started out as a hobby to cure boredom has now become so much more :) 

9. Where is your favourite place to visit?

Oxford in the UK. Or more specifically Summertown in Oxford. It's where my G'ma lives and its the nicest, prettiest most relaxing place! Everyone rides bikes for transport around there too which I love.

10. Which is your favourite blog post so far?

Probably the one I've recently written about Lily's personality at 2 years old. It was so much fun to write!
