Pastel Party Decor

Friday 6 November 2015

So organising Lily's party decor was very last minute this year thanks to my scatter pregnancy brain. With a little (okay a LOT) of help from online shops and the fact that I still had a box of decorations left over from last year I was able to put together a cute little birthday spread for her.

I thought I would show exactly what it is that we used incase anyone else is planning a pastel themed party too!

Like I mentioned above a lot of the items I had left over from last year which was a great help as it saved me from stressful last minute ordering.

Most of the above I ordered from The Original Party Bag Company who are a great store with a wide range of party bits at fantastic prices. They do really fast delivery too! The little crackers they sent me for free, how cute are they!?

The milk bottles were also from The Original Party Bag Company and I thought they were perfect as they could be used for drinks, holding sweets or straw storage (as we ended up using them for in the end) The big sweets bowl I also found in the clearance section on their website, result! & the sweet scooper and sweet bags I located on Amazon

Nearly all the above items I luckily had left over from last years party so I'll try my best to remember where they were all from! The circus cupcake toppers I bought from Wilkos but actually ended up not using as they didn't really go with the theme, so they can go into storage for next year. The chalkboard sticker I got from Ebay and after James wrote 'Lily turns 3' on it we used it as the main centrepiece above the table - I was really pleased with how it looked in the end. I found the cake stand at a jumble sale and if I remember rightly the bunting, napkins and food flags were all from Amazon and were all really cheap. The napkins are so cute and the food flags just added that nice little touch to the food. The bunting I absolutely adore and can be found hung in Lily's room when not being used for party purposes. It also makes a great birthday photo prop if you check out the photo below from last year!

Finally this number 3 table piece was bought from a seller called 'Altered chic' on Not on the high street. I bought a number 2 in lilac colour from her last year and not only did I use it as party decor I also used it as a prop for her birthday pictures. They come in a range of different colours and only cost around £10 which I think is a total bargain!
