I tend to get asked the same questions a lot so thought it would be prudent to create a FAQ for all those little niggling questions...

What is your name?

Where are you from?

Leeds, UK.

How old are you?

26.

How long have you been blogging?

I was blogging on and off for around the first year or so of Lily's life and only got decided to take it more seriously when Lily was around 18 months old (2014).

What camera do you use?

I have quite a few cameras (and many lenses!) but the majority of my photos are taken with a Canon 5D Mark III. Lens choice is usually one of three: Canon 24-70mm f2.8 II, Canon 135mm f2, Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art. Occasionally I might use my iPhone if I don't have my cameras to hand!

For those who follow my Vlog, my sitting down videos tend to be shot with a Canon 700D (with kit lens) and my walking shots tend to be on my Canon G7X. Occasionally I might use my iPhone if I don't have my cameras to hand!

How old is Lily?

Lily is currently 3, turning 4 in October (and she can't wait!).

How old is Archer?

Archer is currently 7 months old.

What happened to Lily Mae Adventures?

Lily Mae Adventures is the name of my previous blog (this is technically the same blog, it has just been re-designed and re-named). I decided to make the change so that I could incorporate Archer in the name given that he was featuring in the content so much! Lily Mae Adventures was created before Archer came along so with that I have retired the old name and made way for our new one: Lilypad & Bow!

What does Lilypad & Bow mean?

Lilypad & Bow are the nicknames we call our children. Lily has been called Lilypad for as long as I can remember! Bow is derived from the meaning of Archer's name; Bowman or Bow for short.
