It feels so strange to be writing a two month update. Archers growing up so fast and I can't keep up!

About a week and a half ago Arch had his 6 week check up with the GP. They checked his ears, eyes and limbs and declared him to be perfect! I've also been cleared to start exercising again and I'm excited to start jogging. His weight at that check up was 11lb 70z, how chunky! and all of his 0-3 months clothes only go up to 12lbs so he may be out of them and into 3-6 sooner rather than later.

Archers Eighth Week

Wednesday 30 March 2016

Just a small post from me today. I'm really really surprised and overwhelmed to hear that my little old blog has been nominated for the MAD Blog Awards this year under best pregnancy blog and best use of photography.

The fact that someone likes my blog enough to nominate me honestly makes me rather emotional. I've never really given the MADs, or any sort of blogging awards a second though as I was sort of just in the mindset that aside from me mam I was the only one reading it! Thank you for considering me, it really does mean a whole lot.

How warm has it been this weekend!? It's nice to see a change in the weather at last. I absolutely love Easter, I really do. I love making Easter baskets for Lily and planning Easter egg hunts and searching for rabbit themed outfits but this year I just haven't been on the ball. You can let me off though as I do have an 8 week old and I'm flipping knackered all the time at the moment haha.

Just because I've been totally un-organized this year doesn't mean we haven't had a lovely Easter though because we have. It's been pretty uneventful but that's what we all needed I think.

Easter Bank Holiday Weekend

Monday 28 March 2016

This week I've been guilty of doing a lot of online shopping. So not sorry though! I've picked up some lovely personalised bits along with a few new summer outfits for Lily as the weather should hopefully be getting warmer and her autumn clothes are getting too small. As always I've ordered some decor pieces and accessories for her room with more arriving this week..I just can't help myself!

Friday Favourites #10

Friday 25 March 2016

This week has been a bit of a productive week for me. I've recently started successfully putting Archer down for naps in his moses basket during the day (thanks white noise!) which has enabled me to get more done whilst he sleeps. I've decided to start tackling the house as I've let it slide a lot lately and as a result it's looking the worst its ever looked. My plan is to work my way through the house bit by bit, room by room and each week I'll be working on a different part of the house till I'm happy.

This week I decided to start on the kids' rooms.

Redecorating the kids' rooms - Trunki & Stickerscape Review

Monday 21 March 2016

It's mid March and the weather's finally starting to pick up. I don't know where the months are going..it feels like I was heavily pregnant at Christmas just yesterday. I managed to snap these photos at the weekend as we spent most of the afternoon in the garden enjoying the first of the spring sun.

Siblings in March

Tuesday 15 March 2016

The sun has been out all weekend and I can't tell you what a difference it's made! Its funny how blue skies and some dry weather can make you feel so happy. It really has the power to do a 360 to your mood.

Weekend Watch - 12.03.16

Monday 14 March 2016

This weeks been a bit of  mixed bag in terms of my emotions but my favourite week so far when it comes to Archie's development!

For the past few days we've had smiles, lots and lots of smiles!
It's just my favourite thing ever.

Archers Fifth Week

Friday 11 March 2016

This weekends been a bit of a funny one. I'm not sure whats been up with me but my emotions really have been all over the place and it resulted in a pretty stressful weekend!

Mothers Day Weekend

Tuesday 8 March 2016

My early twenties were a pretty unremarkable time for me. I was doing what is customary for most students in their early 2os to do - living in a grotty flat, skipping more lectures than I was attending and going out most nights of the week. At the time I was happy enough living that kind of lifestyle but I wasn't fulfilled or inspired and I know I felt for a lot of that time period that I was just plodding along without a purpose.

I can still picture the morning I found out I was pregnant.

Being Pregnant At 21 Saved Me

Wednesday 2 March 2016

I'm not quite sure how this happened but all of a sudden my teeny tiny little newborn is one month old! It makes me happy that we successfully survived the first hectic month of having a baby but equally sad at how fast it's all going. I've been told a lot that time with your second baby just speeds by and I didn't believe it too much as I was told the same about second pregnancies and disagreed but its true, time really is hurtling forward and there's nothing I can do to stop it.
