I wasn't going to do a 'little loves' post today. It's been a hectic week and I haven't had time to stop and think, never mind get a blog post up and I'll be honest and say I feel a bit out of the loop and a bit de-motivated with blogging and my 'blogging stats' right now. Howeverr Archer seems to be having a mammoth nap and catching up with my current favourite linky/pretending the tip in my house doesn't exist seems a much better option than actually tidying it so here I am!
I took Lily to a meet and greet picnic at the primary school she will be starting in September a few days ago. It was lovely and we got to meet her new teacher and her new classmates. We heard all about the things they get up to in reception and what the structure of 'big' school will be like, and how it differs from nursery. I'm very excited for Lil but also extremely emotional!
Just this morning I made the decision to take the kids on an early morning walk. (7am kind of early!) They both woke up waay before they should have and both seemed pretty restless so I thought a short walk might help. I actually really enjoyed it as being so early meant there was pretty much no-one around besides some early morning dog walkers. There's such a peaceful sort of still-ness to the park when it's that empty and I adore it. We'll definitely be doing more early morning walks from now on.
The first photograph here makes me laugh because if Archer was going to be a dog he would totally be this one. They have the exact same colouring!
The kids have been wearing their matchy matchy cactus outfits from Another Fox a lot recently. I adore them!
Like I said it's been an extremely busy week this week and we're ending our week by travelling to Manchester on Sunday to spend some time with family. I love having lots and lots of plans but I'm also hoping next week will be at least a little bit more relaxed!
The time just flies by doesn't it. I've been loving Love Island too! I've even got my husband watching.
