Another Fox AW17 Collection Lookbook

I'm all about the small independent businesses found online these days. Or the 'Instagram kids shops' as they are often more casually referred to! I shopped at few for Lily, pre Archer, but my love for them really started after Archer was born and I struggled to find any boys clothing on the high street that impressed me.

The shops I found via social media, mainly Instagram, solved that problem for me and I more or less haven't looked back since. I've found that the clothing designs from these smaller businesses are so much more vibrant, unique and thought through. There's a lot less gender stereotyping within the clothes themselves, baby blues for boys and pink for girls etc and more often than not the collections are entirely unisex which I appreciate (especially as someone who was team yellow throughout her pregnancy).
Lastly, these shops are more often than not run by work at home mothers and in my opinion who better? They know their target audience to a T.

As I am a serial shopper I thought I would start a new blog series showing off my favourite collections. A lookbook series if you like, with Archer as my blissfully un-aware model (seriously he's so used to me snapping away at him with my camera that he doesn't even bat an eyelid anymore ha ha)

& who better to start with than Another Fox.


Another Fox are a clothing company who I've been purchasing from since Archer was a wee dote. The brand was created in the hopes of 'stepping away from conventional and stereotypical kids clothing wear to offer a collection of considered cool pieces by using a minimal colour palette and both trend and classic led prints.'
I've been very lucky to be asked to work with Another Fox on their new AW17 collection which I adore. The collection trend is called 'celestial' and revolves around the space age trend coming through this autumn.

Here are some of my current favourite pieces

Cosmic Bodysuit

This is probably Archers most worn piece from the collection. I've teamed it with a khaki green romper from the another fox summer range for these photos but it goes great under a romper of any colour. Why not style it with black for a trendy monochrome look?

Cosmic Sweat & Stardust Organic leggings

This outfit is everything. As mentioned above the cosmic vest is Archers most worn piece so far but I'm sure as the days start getting colder (as they're already doing, wah) then i'll be replacing with the cosmic sweat to keep him a little warmer. It can be hard to find baby boy leggings that fit Archer well as he's short with chunky little legs but these ones fit perfectly with a great amount of stretch to them. I love the scandi esq cross print on the knees and the fact that these leggings are a neutral colour means they can be teamed with lots of great tops.

Space monkey sweat & Solar leggings

I'm a massive fan of stripes so I was really pleased to see them in the AW17 collection. & how cute is this monkey design? I love that Another Fox have found a childlike design appealing to little ones whilst managing to move away from the child based stereotypes such as monsters, trucks, trains, etc

Supanova Sweat & Stardust Organic leggings

Okay so this legging colour is everything! the light terracotta is a running shade throughout the collection and I adore it. I'm also such a big fan of both monochrome and stripes that this jumper is completely up our street.
