This month is the month I'm really starting to see some proper interaction between Lily and Arch and I love love love it. It melts my heart!

Newborn photo shoots can be so pricey. There's the cost of the shoot itself and then the printing costs on top and as much as I liked the idea of having a shoot done when Lily was born we just couldn't afford it.

We didn't have our camera at the time and so all the pictures I have of Lily as a baby are grainy Iphone photographs that are of no printing quality whatsoever so this time around I was determined to get some decent newborn photos of Archer whether that meant paying someone to take them or doing it ourselves.

My recovery after having Archer has been so different to Lily's and I've been thinking a lot recently about why that is. Post-natally, everything this time round has just been easier, a lot more straight forward and just worlds apart from the period of time after having Lily. 

I guess there's more than one reason as to why that could be..

Its been a relatively stress free weekend, who'da thought it! Some days I feel like I have this parenting two children thing down and some days I feel like I have no handle on it whatsoever. Luckily this weekend wasn't the latter and I've had a really nice few days with my little crew.
